After nearly two years of gathering community input, the city is unveiling Innovate Arlington — the Comprehensive Plan that guides how Arlington grows through 2045. It covers land use, development, and neighborhood priorities, and they're taking it on the road so you can see the roadmap you helped shape.
Two town halls are open to everyone: District 4 on Mon, Aug 18 at the ACTIV Center (2061 W. Green Oaks Blvd.) and District 5 on Mon, Aug 24 at Wellspring on Main (201 W. Main St.). If you've ever complained about traffic, zoning, or "why is there nothing here" — this is the room where that gets decided.

The Bad Königshofen (Southwest Arlington) and Randol Mill (North Arlington) family aquatic centers stay open through Labor Day — but weekends only from here out. So you've got a handful of Saturdays and Sundays left to get your money's worth.
Bonus: it's the city's Arlington150 anniversary, so on Thursdays you can grab a $1.50 hot dog at a pool concession stand and snag a free limited-edition Arlington150 rubber duck while supplies last. Peak summer, honestly.

Brazilian Independence Day Brunch is coming to Home Plate Restaurant & Patio at Texas Rangers Golf Club on Sun, Sept 6 — a themed Sunday spread worth marking down now.
And if you want a standing Sunday move, Ventana Grille at the Tierra Verde Golf Club clubhouse (7005 Golf Club Dr) is now serving brunch every Sunday. Golf-course views, no tee time required.
