Half a century of "Let Your Love Flow" and "If I Said You Had a Beautiful Body" lands downtown Friday, Aug 21 at 8 p.m. at Arlington Music Hall for the Bellamy Brothers' 50th Anniversary Tour. It's an air-conditioned, sing-along kind of night — exactly what a triple-digit August weekend calls for.
And if bluegrass is more your speed, The Cleverlys played Wednesday and Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder roll through next week (Aug 27). The Music Hall's having a moment.

The Original Roy Hutchins Barbeque (1600 E. Copeland Rd.) — big trays of brisket, smoked sausage, and home-cooked sides. The signature move: Texas Twinkies — bacon-wrapped smoked jalapeños stuffed with brisket and cream cheese.
